Alan J. Sessarego, native of California, currently a resident of Gettysburg, Pa. A graduate of University of California with BA in Political Science, and 2 years post graduate study at McGeorge School of Law, Alan began professional motorsports photography in 1972 with AutoWeek Magazine in Reno, Nv. Employed at AutoWeek Magazine 1972—1979. Relocated to Gettysburg, Pa. 1980 to become an antique dealer specializing in original Civil War photographs and letters. Also a collector and dealer in African masks and statues.
Alan is the author of Civil War books: Letters Home 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. He is a freelance photographer of professional motorcycle racing since 1993. He also publishes and sells Motorcycle racing related products including his book set, Time To Look Back, Got Bike? motorcycle poster, Gettysburg Bike Week t-shirts and Gettysburg Ghost Riders t-shirts.
Alan also is an avid collector of professional riders’ used gear. He has owned the following bikes: Suzuki 250, Yamaha Seca II, Honda F-2, Honda 929, Honda Superhawk, Honda RC-51, 2004 Honda 600RR, 2005 Yamaha YZF R-1.
